Bangladesh Cricket team to leave for Sri Lanka tomorrow

Bangladesh National Cricket team will leave the city for Sri Lanka tomorrow to play three One Day International (ODI) matches against their counterpart Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh finished eighth in the recently concluded ICC World Cup Cricket 2019 in England and Wales.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka became sixth in the gala extravaganza of world cricket.
It may be mentioned that, Bangladesh have taken the seventh position in the ODI Rankings, according to the latest ICC Rating.

Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in the first ODI at Premadasa International Stadium in Colombo on July 26. Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in the second ODI at the same venue on July 28. The Tigers will meet the Lions in the last ODI at the same venue on July 31.
Besides, Bangladesh will play a warm-up match against the Selected XI of Sri Lanka on July 23.
All the matches will be Day/Night affairs.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on July 16 the 14-member Bangladesh National Cricket Squad for the upcoming three-match Sri Lanka Series.
Ace-all rounder Shakib Al Hasan was given rest, Liton Das was granted leave, while Abu Jayed was excluded from the Squad.
On the other hand, Anamul Haque and Taijul Islam have been included in the Squad.
