Bangladesh Cricket team reach Saint Lucia

Members of Bangladesh Cricket team reached Saint Lucia in West Indies on Tuesday to take part in the second Test against West Indies at Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium from June 24.
Earlier, Bangladesh lost to West Indies by seven wickets in the first Test at Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium in Antigua on June 19.
Bangladesh have no alternatives but to win in the second Test, if the Tigers want to save defeat in the two-match Test series.
Members of Bangladesh Cricket team took part in their practice session in Saint Lucia on Wednesday and will participate in the training session at the same venue on Wednesday.
The Bangladeshi cricketers are passing a bad time. Bangladesh team had to suffer a seven-wicket defeat to the hosts West Indies in the first Test due to the batters, who were out of form. Bangladesh want to fight back in the second Test after forgetting the nightmare of first Test. Bangladesh have included in-form Anamul Haque Bijoy in their squad to strengthen their side. Anamul Haque Bijoy performed extremely well in the recently concluded Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket. Bangladesh have also included pacer Shoriful Islam. Shoriful joined the squad in Saint Lucia yesterday.
Bangladesh played two Test matches at Darren Sammy Stadium in Saint Lucia before the ensuing Test match, which is scheduled to be held from June 24 to June 28.
Bangladesh played against the Caribbeans in the first Test here in 2004. Bangladesh made a draw in that Test. Habibul Bashar, Mohammad Rafique, Khaled Mashud Pilot notched up centuries in that Test match.
Later, Bangladesh played against West Indies at Darren Sammy Stadium in 2014. Bangladesh lost to home side by 296 runs in that match.
Meanwhile, Kraigg Brthwaite-led West Indies Test Cricket team reached Saint Lucia to play second Test match against the touring Bangladesh.
