Bangladesh Cricket team likely to tour Lanka in September

Bangladesh Cricket team are likely to tour Sri Lanka in September to play three Test matches and three Twenty20 International Cricket matches against Sri Lanka.
Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Akarm Khan said to a local website, ” BCB and Sri Lanka Cricket have been discussing about the tour of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka to play three Test matches and three T20 International matches. The tour of Bangladesh becomes bright as Sri Lanka Cricket agree to stage the three-match Test series and BCB is also prepared to send Bangladesh Cricket team. The schedule of the series has not yet finalised.”
Members of Bangladesh Cricket team have to take in a fourteen-day quarantine in Sri Lanka to follow the rule to keep them well and fit before tested negative for coronavirus. Then Bangladesh team will play a two-dayer warm-up match against Sri Lanka before play the key series.
Akram Khan said, ” Bangladesh are interested to play three-match Test series and also compete in three-match T20I series. BCB has given that proposal to Sri Lanka Cricket. If Sri Lanka Cricket finally agree to stage the series, the full-fledged series will be held.”
