Bangladesh Cricket team will leave for the city for Sri Lanka on April 12 to play two Test matches of the ICC Test Championship against the hosts.
Earlier, Bangladesh-Sri Lanka matches were not held due to coronavirus pandemic and quarantine issue between the two countries. Meanwhile, India will take on New Zealand in the final of the ICC Test Championship. Thus the two Test matches between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will not create any influence in the final of the ICC Test Championship.
After the two-Test series, Sri Lanka Cricket team will arrive in Dhaka on May 20 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches against the hosts.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nizamuddin Chowdhury said, ” Bangladesh Cricket team will leave the city for Sri Lanka on April 12 to play two Test matches. On the other hand, Sri Lanka will arrive in the city on May 20 to play three ODI matches against Bangladesh.”
