Bangladesh continued their winning spree as they recorded an another cake walk 5-0 goals victory over hapless Singapore in their second group C match of AFC Under-16 Championship 2017 qualifiers held on Monday at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.
As expected they were in an impressive form cheering on their previous 3-0 victory over title aspirant Iran in their tournament opening match.
They carried on the good work with a dominating performance as they made mincemeat of poor Singapore defense.
Bangladesh forwards have been more accurate as the host team had a good chance of finishing the match with a bigger goal tally. Bangladesh took the lead in the 39th minute of the match.
Forward Sanjida Akhter curved a cross from the right flank and Krishna Rani headed the ball into the far net (1-0). Krishna Rani doubled the lead scoring her second goal in the 47th minute.
Midfielder Marzia ran down the left flank and curved a cross to Krishna who placed the ball into the net from a vantage position (2-0).
Substitute forward Anuching Mogini further widened Bangladesh’s margin in the 81st minute. Tahura’s right footer slipped off the gloves from Singapore goalie Lutrah Hannah and Anuching tapped the ball from close range (3-0).
Moushumi scored the 4th goal for the host in the 86th minute (4-0) while Anuching sealed the victory in the injury time of the second half of the match (5-0).
Bangladesh will play their next match against Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday (August 31) at the same venue.
