Bangladesh Coast Guard observed its 26th anniversary with great festivity on Sunday.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan attended the program as chief guest held at Agargaon in Dhaka.
During the event, the home minister said: “Bangladesh Coast Guard has been working tirelessly for more than two decades to ensure maritime trade and security of the coastal people of Bangladesh. He also said the government is determined to make this force stronger.”
Along with the home minister, Senior Secretary of Public Security Division Mostafa Kamal Uddin was present as a special guest.
At the event, Asaduzzaman Kamal distributed medals to several Bangladesh Coast Guard officials, sailors, and civilian employees, among others.
