Bangladesh Chess team leaves for Nepal

A fourteen-member of Bangladesh Chess team left here for Kathmandu to take part in the Asian Zonal 3.2 Chess Championships open and women qualifying events of World Cup Chess and World Women Chess Championship scheduled to be held from March 19-27 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Players of open section are: national champion GM Enamul Hossain Razib, GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib, GM Ziaur Rahman, GM Niaz Murshed, IM Abu Sufian Shakil, FM M Taibur Rahman, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman and FM Mehdi Hasan Parag.
Players of women’s section are: WIM Rani Hamid, WIM Shamima Akter Liza, National women champion WFM Nazrana Khan Eva, WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin, Samiha
Sharmin Shimmi and WCM Mahmuda Hoque Chowdhury Moly.
Champion of open section will qualify for the World Cup Chess in 2017 and champion of the women’s section will participate in the World Women Chess Championship in 2018.
