Left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny made his first appearances of the series and replaced the fast bowler Taskin Ahmed, who suffered a side strain during the second ODI. India made two changes, with Stuart Binny replacing Ravindra Jadeja in an allrounder-for-allrounder swap and Umesh Yadav coming into the pace attack in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
