Players of Bangladesh Football team were engaged in the gymnasium in their hotel in Doha, the capital city of Qatar on Monday. The booters also did swimming in their hotel.
Earlier, Bangladesh Football team took part in their practice session at the ground in Doha on Saturday and Sunday last.
Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan in their Group-E match of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers at Hamid Bin Jashim Stadium in Doha on June 3.
Senior Footballer Sohel Rana said, ” We are taking preparation for the upcoming match against Afghanistan. They played two practice matches. We watched the video of those matches. We have analyzed those games. Our Head Coach Jamie Day found their strength and weakness.”
Defender Topu Barman said, ” Mohammad Ibrahim will join us. Our strength will be increased as he will join us.”
Assistant Coach of Bangladesh Stuart Watkins said, ” The booters are doing for recovery their fitness by doing exercise in gymnasium and swimming in the swimming pool. The recovery session is important for them. We are taking preparation for the matches of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.”
Bangladesh lost to Afghanistan by a solitary goal in their first leg match in abroad. Bangladesh’s home match was scheduled to held in Dhaka. But due to coronavirus situation Bangladesh team have to play in Doha.
