Bangladesh Betar’s ‘Tarunyer Kantha’ documentary program was held at Ishwardi Upazila Parishad auditorium on Thursday (May 27) afternoon to create awareness among the youth about prevention of child marriage, risk of early pregnancy and benefits of planned family formation. The event was organized as part of the regular activities of Bangladesh Betar’s Population Health and Nutrition Cell in compliance with the health rules during the Coronation period.
Ishwardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer PM Imrul Kayes was the chief guest on the occasion. At the time, he said, ‘Child marriage is a curse for society. We all have to work together to get rid of this curse and this program of Bangladesh Betar will play a helpful role in preventing child marriage. ‘
Shahina Sultana, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer, Swapan Kumar Kundu, President of Press Club and teachers and students of SM School and College were present on the occasion. Conducted by Sajib Dutt on Bangladesh Betar Apps.
The program will be aired on Saturday, June 5 at 8.10 pm on Dhaka-A and FM 108 MHz under the supervision of Amirul Islam, Deputy Director of Bangladesh Betar and produced by Tofazzal Hossain, Assistant Director (Program).
