Bangladesh Goju Ryu Karate team became runners-up in the 1st International Goju Ryu Karate Championship, which was held at Scholars International, Govindpur in Joypur of Insia recently. India emerged as the champions of the karate meet.
Hafsad Islam of Bangladesh bagged gold medal in +84 kg weight category, Md Easa gained silver in -67 kg weight category, Shahddat Hossain earned bronze in -87 kg weight category, Md Shajahan gained bronze in -61 kg weight category and Tasin Khalashi got bronze in -61 kg weight category (Junior Group). -Sports Reporter
