Bangladesh Under-18 National Women’s Football team beat Nepal Under-18 National Women’s Football team by two goals to one in their Group-B match of the SAFF Under-18 Women’s Championship at Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan on Tuesday.
Bangladesh emerged as the Group-B champions bagging six points from two matches, while Nepal became Group-B runners-up earning three points from as many matches.
Bangladesh and Nepal confirmed their semi-finals berth. Bangladesh led the first half 2-0.
Shawpna led her team ahead in the 16th minute of the match.
After two minutes, Krishna Rani doubled the margin.
Reshmi Kumari Sising of Nepal reduced the margin in the second minute of the injury time.
