Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka President’s XI by 41 runs in the warm-up Twenty20 Cricket match at Colombo Cricket Club Ground in Colombo on Tuesday.
Batting first Bangladesh piled up a mammoth total of 186 for the loss of five wickets in ssthe stipulated 20 overs and then they all out Sri Lanka President’s XI for 145 off 19 overs.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim hit a superb 65. His 44-ball innings was decorated with three sixes and six fours.
 Mahmudullah Riyad hammered a windy 43. His 27-ball knock was decorated with three sixes and two fours.
Opener Liton Kumar Das cracked a windy 40 using 18 balls. He hit three sixes and four fours.
Ariful Haque remained unbeaten with 15, while Nurul Hasan remained unbeaten with 12.
A Fernando bagged a pair of wickets at the cost of 22 runs, while T De Silva, J Daniel and L Kumara took one wicket each for 10, 14 and 30 runs respectively.
Earlier, opener N Dickwella made 27 from 13 balls, while A Perera hit 22 off 18 balls and L Milantha scored 19 from 18 balls.
Taskin Ahmed and Rubel Hossain grabbed a couple of wickets each at the cost of 16 and 19 runs respectively.
Besides, Nazmul Islam, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Soumya Sarkar and Abu Hider took one wicket each for three, 10, 17 and 35 runs respectively.
