Bangladesh men’s team continued their winning run in the 4th Rollball World Cup beating Bhutan by 9-2 goals in their second match held on Saturday at Mirpur Indoor Stadium.
The winners’ led the first half by 3-2 goals.
In the day’s match, Hriday and Arafat scored four goals each while Sohag completed the tally scoring the other one goal for Bangladesh.
Talking to the reporters after the match, the winning Bangladesh skipper Asif said they are focusing match by match and they want to move ahead like this in the tournament.
He also hoped to continue their winning streak in the remaining matches of the tournament.
Earlier, Bangladesh got off to a flying start as they dumped Hong Kong by 19-1 goals in the tournament opening match.
Meanwhile, in the day’s other matches held at Sheikh Russel Roller Skating Complex venue, France beat China by 2-1 goals, Belarus dumped Turkey 16-1 goals, Gambia played out to a 1-1 goal draw with Chinese Taipei, England women team played out to a goalless draw with Indonesia women team and China women team blanked Tanzania women team by 3-0 goals.
At Handball Stadium, Latvia beat Uruguayan by 2-0 goals while Denmark women team blanked Turkey women team by 6-0 goals.
At Mirpur Indoor Stadium venue, Pakistan drubbed Guinea by 11-0 goals.
