Bangladesh has extended its support to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the upcoming presidential election of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday assured Bangladesh’s support to the UAE when its candidate Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak made a phone call to her.
“He called the Prime Minister at 3pm and sought Bangladesh’s support in the upcoming election,” PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
The election to the IUCN scheduled to be held on February 13-14, 2021 in France at the World Conservation Congress.
