Bangladesh Army emerged as the unbeaten champions of the Diamond Melamine Federation Cup Rugby Competition defeating Chittagong Brothers Union Limited by 58-0 points in the final at Physical Education College Ground in Mohammadpur on Saturday.
National Awardee Sports Personality Md Shah Alam distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest, while Principal of Physical Education College Md Jasimuddin was with him as the special guest.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU) and Chairman of the Tournament Committee Barrister Anisuzzaman, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Md Tariquzzaman Nannu, Vice-President of BRU Abdullah-Al-Zahir Shapan, General Secretary of BRU Mousum Ali, Joint-Secretary of the Union Sayeed Ahmed were present at the time.
