National Taekwondo: Bangladesh Ansar emerge as champions

Bangladesh Ansar emerged as the champions of the Walton 8th National Taekwondo Competition on Tuesday. Bangladesh Ansar grabbed seven gold medals. Bashundhra Group Taekwondo team became runners-up of the meet. The competition was held at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council.
After the competition, State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Senior Additional Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Deputy Operative Director (Marketing) of Walton Group Md Raihan were present as special guests.
A total of 160 karatekas took part in the competition. The participating teams are: Dhaka district, Munshiganj district, Narayanganj district, Shariatpur district, Madaripur district, Faridpur district, Luxmipur district, Rangpur district, Chittagong district, Cax’s Bazar district, Rajshahi district, Bangladesh Ansar and Bashundhara Group Taekwondo team.
