Bangladesh Ansar became the champions in the Marcel Cup Bodybuilding Competition on Sunday. The competition was held at the Auditorium of National Sports Council Tower.
Rimon of Bangladesh Ansar emerged as the champion in 60 kg weight category, Anwar Hossain of Bangladesh Ansar became the champion in 65 kg weight category, Ariful Islam of Bangladesh Ansar became the champion in 70 kg weight category, Abu Syed of Bangladesh Ansar emerged as the champion in 75 kg weight category, Md Atiqur Rahman of Gazipur Fitness One became the champion in 80 kg weight category, Md Raihanur Rahman of Gazipur Fitness One emerged as the champion in the Above 80 kg weight category.
Anwar Hossain of Bangladesh Ansar became champion in the overall category.
The champion of each category was awarded Tk ten thousand while the champion of overall category was given Tk sixty thousand.
After the competition, Head of Sports and Welfare Division of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Head of Marcel Brand (Marcel South) Shamim Al Mamun and Adviser of ATN Bangla Mir Motahar Hossain were with him as special guests.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation Nazrul Islam was present at the time.
