Bangladesh ‘A’ team to play the 3rd and last series deciding one-day match against touring Sri Lanka ‘A’ team today (Sunday) at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
The 2nd string Bangladesh team made a good start in the three-match unofficial ODI series beating Sri Lanka ‘A’ team by two runs in the first match, but the Lankan ‘A’ team bounced back in the series beating the hosts by 67 runs in the 2nd match to level the series 1-1 on Thursday.
Visiting Sri Lanka ‘A’ team won the three-match four-day unofficial Test series 1-0 after beating the home side by an innings and 38 runs in Sylhet as the first two matches ended in draw at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
Earlier on Thursday, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the 3rd and last one-day match against the Islanders.
Bangladesh A team: Soumya Sarker, Mohammad Mithun, Afif Hossain, Khaled Ahmed, Nayeem Hasan, Shoriful Islam, Al Amin (Jr), Zakir Hossain, Fazle Rabbi, Saif Hasan, Mizanur Rahman, Ariful Haque, Saif Uddin, Shohag Gazi and Sunzamul Islam.
