Bangladesh A team to play first one-day in South Africa today

Bangladesh A team will start their warm-up tour to South Africa taking on Irene Villagers Club (IVC) in the first one-day match today (Monday) at Irene Villagers Club ground.
The second string Bangladesh Team, which reached South Africa last Thursday to play three-one day and one three-day matches against local team all at Irene Villagers Club ground, made their last training session at Irene in Centurion, Pretoria on Saturday.
Bangladesh will play their lone three-day match against Irene Villagers Club on October 21-23 at the same venue, followed by the 2nd one-day match on October 27.
Bangladesh team will wrap-up their South Africa tour playing the 3rd one-day match against Gauteng Strikers on October 29 at Irene Villagers Club ground.
Bangladesh ‘A’ cricket team, which left the capital for South Africa on October 14 for a warm-up tour ahead of their tour to Zimbabwe to play three-match one-day series and two-match four-day series against Zimbabwe ‘A’ team, will leave South Africa for Zimbabwe on 30.
The 2nd string Bangladesh will play the three-match one-day series against Zimbabwe ‘A’ team slated for November 2, 4, and 6, all at Queens Sports Club ground.
The first four-day match will begin on November 9 at Bulawayo Athletic Club ground followed by second four-day match beginning on November 15 at the same venue.
Earlier, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 15-member Bangladesh ‘A’ team headed by all-rounder Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury.
Bangladesh ‘A’ squad: Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury (Captain), Soumya Sarker, Sadman Islam, Rony Talukdar, Liton Kumar Das, Sabbir Rahaman, Musaddek Hossain Saikat, Mahmudul Hasan, Md Mithun, Kamrul Islam Rabbi, Mohammed Shahid, Al Amin Hossain, Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi, Saqlain Sajib, Zubaer Hossain and Taijul Islam.
