3-day match: Bangladesh A suffer innings defeat against India A

Bangladesh A cricket team finished their India tour with a humiliating innings and 32 runs defeat against India A on the 3rd day of their second unofficial three-day match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Tuesday.
Replying India A’s 1st innings of 411 runs for 5-dec in 86.1 overs, Bangladesh (228 runs in the first innings) resumed the second innings with overnight score of 36 for 2 in 11 overs and were all out for 151 in 39.3 overs.
Skipper cum overnight batsman Mominul Haque scored team highest 54 off 95 balls with nine fours while another overnight batsman Liton Kumar Das added 38 runs off 42 runs with six fours.
Mominul-Liton the third wicket stand for 61 runs in 13.1 overs was the only success tale to tell for Bangladesh in the 2nd innings.
Saqlain Sajib (21 off 37b; 3×4, 1×6) and Shafiul Islam (13 off 17; 3×4) were the other double figure scorers in the second innings for the side on the third day.
Ishwar Pandey and Jayant Yadav grabbed three wickets each for 28 and 48 runs respectively while Abhimanyu Mithun took two wickets for 23 runs in the second innings.
Earlier, Bangladesh A team lost to Karnataka by 4 wickets in the first three-day unofficial match which concluded on Thursday (September 24), following a 1-2 series loss against India A team in the three-match one-day series.
Bangladesh A team will return home on Wednesday.
