Bangladesh A beat Zimbabwe A by 138 runs

After a frustrating warm-up tour in South Africa, Bangladesh A team made a flying start in Zimbabwe tour outplaying hosts Zimbabwean A team by a huge margin of 138 runs in the first match of the three-match unofficial ODI series at the Harare Sports Club ground on Monday.
Sent in to bat first, the 2nd string Bangladesh team scored 252 for 9 in stipulated 50 overs featuring a century by one down Mohammad Mithun, who contributed exact 100 runs off 103 balls with six fours and three sixes.
Besides, opener Shadman Islam (58), two down Naeem Islam (27) and Mosaddek Hossain (22) were notable contributors for the touring Bangladesh team.
BV Vitori and RP Buri grabbed two wickets each conceding 25 and 40 runs respectively.
In reply, Zimbabwe A team were all out for 114 runs in 37 overs with RP Buri scoring 41 runs off 77 balls hitting one boundary.
Besides, GAT Mamhiyo (17), BV Vitori (14), KL Saunamba (12) and CB Mpofu (10) were other main scorers for Zimbabwe reaching the double figures.
Mahmudul Hasan grabbed four wickets for 30 runs, while Mohammad Shahid, Abu Jayed and Shuvagoto Hom took two wickets each giving away 7, 15 and 16 runs respectively.
In the remaining two one-day matches, Bangladesh A team will play Zimbabwe A Team on November 4 and 6 before playing two four-day matches against their Zimbabwean counterparts at the same venue.
