Satellite TV network Bangla Vision made a good start in the Pran Krako-DRU Handball Tournament crushing Bhorer Kagoj by 5-1 goals in one of the five matches held on the 2nd at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city on Monday.
In the day’s other matches, Dipto TV beat Amader Shomoy 3-1, BSS defeated Manabzamin 3-2, ATN Bangla beat UNB 2-0 and Janakantha outplayed Sangram 4-1 at the same venue on Monday morning.
Mahfuzur Rahman of Bangla Vision, Shakib of Dipto TV, Shariatullah of BSS, SM Ashraf of ATN Bangla and Mithun Ashraf of Janakantha were adjudged the man of the match in their respective encounters.
Tuesday’s matches: Dipto TV vs Janakantha (9:am), Ittefaq vs Jamuna TV (9:30 am), ATN News vs RTV (10 am), Bangla Mail 24.com vs BSS (10:30 am), GTV vs Inqilab (11 am) and ATN Bangla vs Bangla Vision (11:30 am).
Twenty four teams of different print, electronic, new agency and online media houses are taking part in the meet, organized by Dhaka Reporters Unity under the supervision of Bangladesh Handball Federation and sponsored by Pran Foods Ltd.
