Sabbir Hossain :Bangladesh and Pakistan will meet each other today (Sunday) in their Group 2 match of the ICC World Twenty20 Cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka.The match begins at 3.30 pm. Bangladesh Television, private satellite channels Maasranga Television and G TV will telecast the match live from the stadium.Before today’s clash, Bangladesh faced Pakistan six times in Twenty20 Internationals and Pakistan won every time.If Bangladesh win today, their semifinals chance hope will be revived mathematically. In that case, they will have to beat Australia on April 1.On the other hand, the match is also equally important to Pakistan. If they secure full points today, they will be close to the semifinals provided they beat West Indies the same day.Captain of the Bangladesh team Mushfiqur Rahim said, “We wanted to start well, but we could not do that in first two matches. There was a bit of improvement today (Friday), but we still have lots of areas to work on. We are playing against top teams, we need to play smarter cricket. We came up with good plan tonight and hopefully want to do better in the next two matches.” Captain of Pakistan team Mohammad Hafeez said, “Now we have to win each and every match. We all know as a team that we can’t make any mistake. We are ready for tomorrow’s game. In the last game, we pulled through a tough situation. Everyone showed great patience, which helped us cross the line.
