The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Wednesday the itinerary for Sri Lanka’s tour of Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka Cricket team will arrive in the city on May 16 to play three ODI matches against Bangladesh Cricket team.
The members of Sri Lanka Cricket team will have to take two-day quarantine on May 17 and May 18 after arrival in Dhaka.
Sri Lanka will take part in the training session on May 19 and May 20 at the BCB-NCA Ground, which is adjacent to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
The Islanders will play a one-day practice match at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) Ground in Savar on May 21.
Then they will participate in the training session at the BCB-NCA Ground in the city’s Mirpur on May 22.
Sri Lanka will face Bangladesh in the first One Day International (ODI) match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on May 23.
Sri Lanka will play against Bangladesh in the second ODI match at the same venue on May 25, will meet the hosts in the third ODI match at the same venue on May 28.
All the ODI matches will be Day/Night affairs.
Sri Lanka Cricket team will depart Dhaka for Colombo on May 29.
Meanwhile, The BCB earlier announced a 23-member preliminary squad of Bangladesh for three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.
The players of the preliminary squad are- Tamim Iqbal, Naim Sheikh, Imrul Kayes, Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah Riyad, Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Mehidy Hassan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Nasum Ahmed, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, Shoriful Islam and Shohidul Islam.
