Bangla book fair in Washington DC June 30

A book fair titled “Biswajure Bangla Boi” will be held in Washington DC on June 30.
Amra Bangalee Foundation (ABF) is organizing the first ever Bangla book fair in the US capital to fulfill the dreams of Banga-speaking people living in Washington DC and different states of the US.
A preparatory meeting marking the book fair was held at the ABF office in Washington DC recently, said a press release.
Bangla Academy Director General Professor Shamsuzzaman Khan is expected to inaugurate the fair.
Chief of Bangla service of Voice of America and ABF Chief Advisor Rokeya Haider, platinum sponsor of fair Parvin Patwari and Kabir Patwari, BCDI Bangla School President Atia Mahjabin Nitu, Duafir President Sabrina Rahman Shormi, News Bangla President Dr Shoeb Chowdhury and ABF President Jibak Kumar Barua, among others, addressed the meeting with Chief Convenor of the fair Architecture Anowar Iqbal Kachi in the chair.
