Bangla-Bharat Sampriti Parishad formed in Kolkata

The ‘Bangladesh-Bharat Sampriti Parishad’ has been launched in Kolkata of India with the aim of expanding the friendly relation of the people of Bangladesh and India.
The Indian committee was formed in Kolkata through a function, says a press release issued by chairman of Dhaka committee of the Bangladesh-Bharat Sampriti Parishad.
Eminent parliamentarian Soumendra Nath Maitra was made chairman, while the West Bengal Rajyashava member and chairman of Standing Committee on Home Ministry Pradip Bhattacharya and Dr Maya Rani were made executive chairman and co-chairman
of the newly floated platform respectively. Congress leader Taibul Haque was made general secretary and Advocate Tapan Chakrabarty of Sarba Bharatiya Congress was given the charge of treasurer.
The Bangladesh-Bharat Sampriti Parishad, Dhaka congratulated all the leaders of the Indian committee.
