Police arrested an alleged associate of executed JMB leader Siddiqul Islam alias Bangla Bhai from Parkasunda village in Atrai upazila on Friday morning.
The arrestee was identified as JMB activist Saiful Islam, 45, son of Safi Uddin, of the village and an accused of a murder case.
Tipped off, a team of police led of Shamsul Islam, inspector of Atrai Police Station, conducted a drive in Saiful’s house in the morning and arrested him, said Kanailal Sarkar, assistant superintendent of Naogaon police.
