Kishoreganj District Administration including Bangladesh Awami League and different other government and non-government organizations on Sunday observed the 91st birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, wife of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, in Kishoreganj in a befitting manner.
The ruling Awami league it’s leaders, workers placed floral wreaths on the portrait of Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Mujib in front of the party office.
Late, recitation of the holy Quran,milady doa -mahafil were held.
DC Mohamad Shamim Alam said that Fazilatunnessa Mujib was not only the wife of Father of Nation but also are the pioneers of the Bengalees for freedom.
SP Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) recalled that during the liberation war in 1971, Bangamata had faced the situation with patience, courage, and wisdom when her husband remained imprisoned in Pakistan.
