The Chittagong Division phase of both the Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujb and Bangabandhu Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournaments advanced to the semifinal stages in the port city here on Monday.
In Bangamata Football, Chandpur beat Luxmipur 1-0, Cox’s Bazar defeated Brahmanbaria 2-0, Bandarban crushed Noakhali 8-0 and Comilla beat Rangamati 2-0 at practice ground of MA Aziz Stadium to reach the zonal semifinals.
In the semifinals on Tuesday, Bandarban to play Cox’s Bazar while Chandpur will face Comilla
In Bangabandhu Football, Chandpur outplayed Noakhali 4-0, Cox’s Bazar defeated Khagrachari 4-0, Chittagong beat Comilla 2-1 and Feni defeated Brahmanbaria 2-1 at the MA Aziz Stadium to reach the semifinals
In today’s semis, Chittagong will meet Feni while Cox’s Bazar will face Chandpur.
