Bangabandhu’s mural to be erected at Jamal Khan Road

A glass-made Mural (sculpture) of Bangabandhu titled ” “Bangabandhu in Heart ” carved over 10mm glass is being erected at Jamal Khan Road of the port city . Artist Pranab Sarkar is carving the mural .
The length and breadth of the mural is 30 feet and 8 feet respectively. This is the ever first glass carved Mural of Bangabandhu across the country and its initiators & planner ward councilor Mr.Shaibal Das Sumon told that Artist Pranab Sarkar has carved the picture of 7th March Historical speech of Bangabandu over 10 mm float glass .
T o protect the mural from the natural calamities like earthquake or any other reasons, necessary angel , rubber etc placed with the mural . A signature of Bangabandhu will remain with the mural as memoir.
It is witnessed that this mural Bangabandu in Heart is placed in between the Dr Khastagir Girls High school and Chattogram Senior club . City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin will formally unveil the mural for public views on January 01, next. 20 freedom fighters and patroniser Dainik Azadi Editor MA Malek will also remain present in inauguration ceremony.
Chattogram City Mayor to the questions of journalists told that we have depicted the history of independence Bangladesh through erecting murals of 20 intellectuals including Bangabandhu in the boundary wall of Dr. Khastagir Girls’ High School and St Maris School of Jamal Khan.
He said it is an exceptional initiatives to apprise the history of Bangladesh before the new generations .
