On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the second poster of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s biopic titled Mujib : The Making of a Nation directed by renowned Bollywood
producer Shyam Benegal was unveiled
with an announcement that the film
will be released in September this year.
Earlier, this year the Bangladesh-India joint venture film released its first official poster on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s 102nd birth anniversary March 17 with the new titled Mujib: Ekti Jatir Rupkotha (Mujib: The Making of a Nation). The first poster has a hand waving to the public in the form of a historic speech on March 7. The same scene is kept in the second poster like the previous one with some changes that shows Shuvoo’s side profile in it. In the film, National award-winning actor Arifin Shuvoo has played the lead role Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Apart from him, the film also features Nusraat Faria who will play the role
of Bangabandhu’s daughter and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina. Nusrat Imroz Tisha as Fazilatun Nesa Mujib, Dilara Jaman will play the role of Bangbandhu’s mother Sahera Khatun, Khairul Alam Sabuj will act as Bangabandhu’s father Sheikh Lutfor Rahman, Shahidul Alam Sachchu as
Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Huq, Ferdous Ahmed as Tajuddin Ahmed, Tauquir Ahmed as Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy, Tushar Khan as Tofazzal Hossain Manik Miah, Fazlur Rahman Babu as Khandakar Moshtaq Ahmed and Misha Sawdagor
as Aiyub Khan, among others.
