Bangladesh finished runners-up in the Bangabandhu Asian Central Zone Men’s Volleyball Challenge Cup after went down fighting against Sri Lanka in the final at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday. Though Bangladesh lost to Sri Lanka but Bangladesh fought back in the first set as the first set drew 25-25 points. The fate of the first set was decided in the tie-breaker and Bangladesh lost to their opponents by 28-26 points. Bangladesh lost to Sri Lanka by 25-20 points in the second set and were beaten to their opponents by 25-20 points in the third set. Sri Lanka became champions.
