Bangladesh Navy take on Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) in the title-deciding final match of Bangabandhu Federation Cup basketball scheduled to be held today at Dhanmondi basketball gymnasium in the city. The match kicks off at 11 am.
Bangladesh Olympic Association’s Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza is expected to present in the final match as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
On way to the final today, Bangladesh Navy beat Bangladesh Army by 74-44 points after leading the first half by 33-24 points in the first semifinal while BKSP defeated Bangladesh Air Force by 56-53 points after dominating the first half by 37-18 points.
Organized by Bangladesh Basketball Federation, a total of seven teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the meet, which is being held marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu.
