Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee will hold a discussion and quiz competition as part of the observance of the historic six-point day digitally on June 7.
“Due to the current global situation for coronavirus, the day will be observed digitally by avoiding public gatherings with utmost importance on public health issues as directed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” a press release of the Bangabandhu birthcentenary celebration implementation body office said.
As per the direction of the Prime Minister, the committee is going to organize the special discussion program and the online quiz competition which will broadcast on television, radio, online and social media on June 7, the release added.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given her consent to preside over the discussion. Prominent writer Professor Syed Manzoorul Islam will be present at the meeting as the chief discussant.
Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzak and Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will also remain present as discussants.
The recorded discussion program will be broadcast on all media, online and social media on 7th June from 6pm to 10pm at a convenient time.
In addition, a one-hour online quiz competition will also be held on June 7 from 9pm to 10pm.
Everybody, especially younger generation, can take part in the competition. Interested people can register through the link: quiz.mujib100.gov.bd.
Prizes will be awarded to 100 winners of the quiz competition. 1st prize is Taka 3 lakh, 2nd prize is Taka 2 lakh, 3rd prize is Taka 1 lakh, 4th prize is Taka 50 thousand, 5th prize is Taka 25 thousand and 95 special prizes are Taka 5 thousand each.
