Polichora Govt. Primary School of Rangpur Division take on Mymensingh Kolsindur Govt. Primary School of Dhaka Division in grand final of Bangabandhu Gold Cup Primary School Football tournament scheduled to be held today (Monday) at the country’s premier venue Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The match kicks off at 4.30 pm.
In the day’s other final of Bangamata Gold Cup, Faizunnessa Govt. Primary School of Cox’s Bazar district under Chittagong Division will meet Korgram Govt. Primary School of Joyentapur under Sylhet Division that will be held at 2.35 pm at the same venue.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman will present in the final as chief guest and distribute the prizes.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Sunday at the conference room of Primary and Mass Education Ministry.
The minister said the present government, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, already ensured admission for all children who are suitable to go school and apart from education the government is working for the development of metal and physical development of children through sports.
The tournaments have been arranged keeping ahead the slogan of “Let’s all go to School”, he said.
The minister hoped that those would do good result in this tournament, would get chance of playing in the age group level in future.
