Bangabandhu Gold Cub Primary School Football tournament (boys’) and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Primary School Football tournament (girls) began on Thursday at Circuit house ground in Mymenshingh.
Prof. Dr. Mohit Ul Alam, vice chancellor of national poet Kazi Nazrul University in Trishal, formally inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest.
On the opening day, Kamlapur Kadbowla government primary school of Muktagacha upazila defeated Faridpur government primary school of Tarakanda upazila by 2-0 goals in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup tournament.
