Khubjipur Govt. Primary School emerged as champion in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup Primary School Football tournament beating Vellabari Govt. Primary School in an intensely contested final match held Thursday at the Shankar Gobinda Chowdhury Stadium in Natore.
The match rolled in to a sudden end after the regulation time ended goalless draw.
In the day’s other match, Sannalpara Govt. Primary School emerged champions in the Bangamata Sheikh Fajilatunnesa Mujib Gold Cup Primary School Football tournament defeating Bamonbaria Govt. Primary School by 4-0 goals in a final match held at the same venue.
Advocate Abul Kalam Azad, MP, of Narote-1 constitution was present as the chief guest on the concluding day and distributed prizes among the winners.
