Saldanga Govt. Primary School emerged boys’ section champions in the Bangabandhu- Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Gold Cup Football Tournament beating Pamuli Primary School by 2-1 goals in the final held on Saturday at Debiganj Public club ground.
In the day’s girls’ section final, Saldanga Govt. Primary School defeated Sonaher Govt. Primary School by 2-0 goals held at the same venue.
Local lawmaker Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon was the chief guest in finals and distributed the prizes.
Upazila Chairman Hasnat Zaman Chowdhury, Upazila Nirbahi officer M SafiqulIslam, upazila education officer Runa Laila, among others, were present on the occasion.
