Police arrested a robber from Rangamati on Friday.
In Rangamati, the law enforcers arrested an alleged pirate in Manikchhari upazila in the early hours.
The arrestee was identified as Mujid Dakat, 38, son of Nurul Islam, hailing from Tajumuddin upazila of Bhola district.
Forkan Ali, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Mirzakalu Police Investigation Centre, said on secret information that Mujid was staying in Rangamati, a police force from Bhola conducted a drive and arrested him from a hilly area.
Mujid was accused in several robbery cases, said officer-in-charge of Borhanuddin Police Station in Bhola Ratan Krishna Roy.
