Bandarban DSA beat Rangamati DSA by 31 runs under parabola method in the rain interrupted 35th National Cricket Championship match at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city on Saturday.
Bandarban DSA batted first after winning the toss and scored 130 for 5 in 39.1 overs with Sujon scoring 38, Jashim 37 and Shafiqul 25 runs, before the match was stopped for rain.
Limon grabbed two wickets for 20 runs while Rashed and Imran took one wicket apiece.
The revised target for Rangamati DSA was fixed at 106 runs in 28 overs under parabola method,
But, Rangamati DSA were all out for 74 runs in 22.4 overs with Tareq making 18 and Hamidul 16 runs. The team highest 23 runs came from extras
Manik, Sujon and Al-Amin claimed three wickets each conceding 6. 8 and 10 runs respectively.
