Local administration has imposed a ban on gathering on different tourist spots in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj including Tanguar Haor.
The other spots which brought under the clampdown are: Niladri, Tekerghat and Barekatila.
Tahirpur UNO Md Raihan Kabir imposed the restriction on Friday.
According to the upazila administration, the govenment has imposed restriction on gathering in different tourist spots across the country to contain the spread of coronavirus.
In line with the government efforts, the upazila administration with the help of police tourists are being sent back from their way.
The UNO said action would be taken against those violate the restriction.
During the first wave of coronavirus last year, local administration had imposed a ban on staying at tourist spots Tanguar Haor and Tekerghat Shaheed Siraj Lake at night as part of government’s efforts to check the spread of coronavirus.
