The authorities at Kushtia Islamic University has banned all types of political activities on the campus until further notice.
Following an order of the university’s Vice Chancellor, its Registrar SM Abdul Latif issued the notice on Monday, said Prof Dr Mahbubur Rahman, proctor of the university. There had been unrest between two groups of teachers in the campus
over the last several days.
The two groups of teachers of Banghabandu Parishad also arranged separate programmes on Monday morning. The university authorities took the decision to keep the situation normal, said the notice.
