Samajtantrik Mahila Forum and Samajtantrik Chhatra Front on Friday demanded the government to ban political parties including Jamaat-e-Islami that were involved in war crimes during the Liberation War of 1971.
They came up with the demand at a joint human chain programme marking the 21st death anniversary of Shaheed Janani Jahanara Imam organised in front of Jatiya Press Club.
Speaking at the programme, Samajtantrik Mahila Forum president Rowshon Ara Russho said Shaheed Janani Jahanara Imam had established people’s court demanding trial of the war criminals.
