UK with others to mount pressure on Myanmar

Visiting UK Secretary for International Development Penny Mordaunt on Sunday said the United Kingdom alongside other countries will continue their pressure on Myanmar to create grounds for the early repatriation of Rohingyas from Bangladesh.She made the remarks during a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganobhaban.Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the meeting.He said the issue of rehabilitation and repatriation of Myanmar’s forcibly displaced people came up for discussion at the meeting.Penny Mordaunt...
