An orientation ceremony for the newly enrolled students of Banophool Adibashi Green Heart College (BAGHC) was held on the institution premises in the capital on last Thursday. Besides, the prize distribution ceremony of annual sports and cultural competition of the college was also held on the occasion. Founder and Chairman of the College Governing Body,Ven Prajnananda Mahathera was present in the ceremony as chief guest while Rector of the BAGHC Prof Tarun Kanti Barua presided over it.
Treasurer of the Banophool adibashi foundation Trust Real Dewan, Acting Principal of BAGHC Sudip Kumar Mondal, Teachers representative Lecturer Sultana Pervin and Jatindra Mohan Mondal were present in the ceremony as special guest. BAGHC acting Principal Sudip Kumar Mandal delivered the greetings speech, Assistant Professor Md. Zakidul Islam delivered the welcome address and second year student Saima Ahmed delivered speech for welcoming the newcomers.
Departmental heads, teachers and students, guardians were present on the occasion. Prizes were distributed among the winners at the end of the programme.
