Banophool Adibashi Green Heart College (BAGHC) observed the great Amar Ekushey and also International Mother Language Day with due respects and solemnity on the college campus on Tuesday. To commemorate the day, the authorities of the college chalked out a day long programme. The programmes were-hoisting the National Flag at half mast, wearing black badges, morning procession, placing floral wreath at the college Shaheed Minar, special discussion, deyalika, handwriting and art competition and cultural function .
Commemorates the day, the college arranged a discussion programme on Martyrs Day and International Mother Language Day. Founder and Chairman of the College governing body Ven. Prajnananda Mahathera was present in the discussion programme as chief guest while Rector Professor Tarun Kanti Barua presided over the discussion.
Acting Principal of the college Sudip Kumar Mandal, teacher representative lecturer Sultana Parveen, senior assistant teacher Subhabarta Chakma and assistant teacher Golam Kibria were present as the special guest.
Ven. Prajnananda Mahathera and Rector Professor Tarun Kanti Barua said that ‘Our language our love and strength’. We must respect all mother language in the world.
