Shaikh Rakibul Islam Rakib (37), Joint General Secretary of Bagerhat district Jubo Dal was killed on the spot on Khulna-Mongla Highway at Digraj bazar under Mongla Upazila in Bagerhat district on Monday when he along with his motor cycle was run over by a speeding truck. The deceased was the son of one Nurul Islam of village Harinkhana withi Bagerhat Pourashava.
ASI Sadhan of Mongla PS told, ill-fated Rakib was going from Digraj to Mongla by a motor cycle for a business purpose and when he reached the place of occurrence the killer truck that was coming from the opposite direction dashed him violently and fled away living him dead.
