This year Bangladesh Air Force has also chalked out an elaborate tree plantation programme in line with the “National Tree Plantation Programme-2017” like previous years.
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc inaugurated the “BAF Tree Plantation Programme-2017” by planting a sapling at Air Headquarters premises on Sunday.
Principal Staff Officers of Air Headquarters also participated in the programme by planting different saplings. Among others Directors and senior BAF officers of Air Headquarters were present during the inauguration programme.
All BAF Bases and Units are also observing the similar programme.
This year’s programme included planting of herbal, fruit bearing, shade giving and other varieties of saplings having timber value.
