Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is replacing its contingent at the UN Mission in Mali (Minusma). Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat briefed the members of the new contingent on Tuesday at Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar in Tejgaon, Dhaka.
While addressing them, the Chief of the Air Staff advised them to discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism and sincerity, and bring good reputation for Bangladesh Air Force as well as the country. Afterward, he participated in a special munajat arranged for success of the contingent, said an ISPR press release.
A total 110 BAF members, including four female officers, will depart for Mali to replace the previous contingent.
Among others, principal staff officers, air officers of Dhaka area, senior officers of BAF headquarters and bases were present on the occasion.
